The Council is delighted to record that changes have been agreed to the forthcoming closure of the main road between Desborough and Rothwell. The closure is necessary to allow the laying of services and the road works at the Persimmons development adjacent to the medical centre and pharmacy at Rothwell.
There will still be disruption to traffic and the road will still be closed BUT the closures will be three weekends and five weekday evenings rather than a full closure for complete two weeks. The traffic lights will be there for the duration of the works so some delays might be experienced.
The closure pattern will now be:-
Sat 10/04/2021 from 6am until Monday 12/04/2021 at 5am
Sat 17/04/2021 from 6am until Monday 19/04/2021 at 5am
Monday 19/04/2021 from 7pm until Tuesday 20/04/2021 at 6am
Tuesday 20/04/2021 from 7pm until Wednesday 21/04/2021 at 6am
Wednesday 21/04/2021 from 7pm until Thursday 22/04/2021 at 6am
Thursday 22/04/2021 from 7pm until Friday 23/04/2021 at 6am
