Annual Town Meeting

This is an annual statutory meeting of the town’s electors and is NOT a Council meeting.

Under the Local Government Act 1972 s9 all towns in England must hold an Annual Town Meeting.  This is a public meeting of the Local Government electors of Desborough, who have the right to attend, to speak, and take part in the discussions, and if appropriate, to vote on such matters.

The meeting will be held in the library building at 7pm on 30 May 2019.  The agenda is here and the minutes of last year’s meeting are here.

If any local organisation would like to make a report or presentation to the meeting please get in touch with the Town Clerk as soon as possible, or come to the meeting and ask to speak.
