High Street safety

Concerns about pedestrian safety in the vicinity of the zebra crossing on High Street have prompted the Town Council to set aside money to provide bollards and railings either side of the crossing to prevent pedestrians walking into the road and to stop vehicles parking on the footpath in the crossing’s zig-zagged lined area.

The Proposed Road Safety Measures to High Street have been approved and a £7,709.22 grant has been made to Northamptonshire Highways which will carry out the work soon.
